Our special bellota (i.e. acorn-fed) native and pure-breed Iberico extra-red chorizo, from free-roaming animals is made out of chopped Iberian pork meat and fat, seasoned with garlic, pimenton (Spanish smoked paprika) and salt.
Our 100% Iberian extra red chorizo comes from pigs which are of 100% Iberian wild breed, raised in the famous Dehesa Mediterranean ecosystem; an Iberian savannah populated by endemic vegetation and fauna; such as the cork and the holm oak and other native animal species such as the Iberian lynx, the Iberian wolf and the Iberian eagle.
The acorn-fed nature of the Iberian wild pork breed, its free-roaming lifestyle, its unique strengths; including fat infiltration and special genetics, make it the most chef-celebrated and the healthiest pork breed for consumption n the world, constituting one of the icons of Iberian cuisine.
